Reading the signal
The source uses tip age to label a node synced, catching_up or stalled. These labels are not based on a verified comparison with every peer. A quiet or intentionally stopped development node can therefore appear stalled.
The configured six-minute block target also differs from the status function’s two-minute freshness boundary. This website displays the node’s label as a reported tip-age signal, not a network-synchronization guarantee.
