Work with Git.
With Git installed and repository access configured:
git clone --branch wallet-cli https://github.com/xprivfi/xprivfi-v23.git
cd xprivfi-v23
git status --short --branch
git log -5 --onelineTo update an existing clean checkout on the same branch:
git status --short --branch
git pull --ff-onlyIf you have local changes or Git reports a conflict, preserve your work and resolve it before proceeding. Pulling source does not rebuild or restart a running node.
Build and understand the result.
The verified build environment for this checkpoint is Linux x86-64. Install the Go version required by go.mod, then follow the repository README.
./build.shThe build script produces programs under bin/. It does not start the node, mining or tests. Native macOS and Windows behavior still requires platform-specific validation.
Keep wallet files, chain data and local environment secrets outside source commits. Project license notices belong to the exact source or release you use.
